Jack Pressman
Managing Principal & Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Pressman has over 25 years of experience in designing and deploying advanced IT projects. He has a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering from Northwestern University’s McCormick School of Engineering.

Mr. Pressman has been designing and building mission critical IT facilities and wide area networks for the past over 15 years. He was the Technology Architect for the new Chicago Police Headquarters, the Chicago Police Wide Area Network, the Ford Supplier Campus (Chicago), the Burlington Northern Sante Fe Intermodal (Joliet) and the DuPage National Technology Park (West Chicago).

Mr. Pressman has extensive industry experience in enterprise-wide Business Continuity and Disaster / Workplace Recovery Plan implementation. Mr. Pressman is currently CDGI’s technology architect for developing over 1,500,000 SF of Tier 3 / Tier 3+ data center, collocation and disaster / workplace recovery facilities in conjunction with deploying a secure private 10 / 40 GbE optical network throughout North America.

Steve Jaffe
Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Jaffe has 20+ years of experience managing large and mid-size companies. He has a Bachelors degree in Management and a Masters Degree in Corporate Finance. From 1993 to 1997, Mr. Jaffe ran Arlington Industries, a national wholesaler of copier/printer supplies. During his 4 year tenure, he led the company from $18 million to $100 million in revenue.

In 1997, Mr. Jaffe formed (with Mr. Thoede) Image Perspective in 1997 and e.Solutions in 1999. Today, both companies are regional industry leaders in IT Services and Marketing Strategy, Design and Web Services. Mr. Jaffe personally continues to consult with principals of Corporations in areas such as operations, finance and marketing.

Mr. Jaffe is responsible for all financial / insurance functions and client / vendor contracts for CDGI.

Melvin Thoede, Jr.
Director of Network Services

Mr. Thoede has 20+ years of experience in senior technology and operations positions. He led the Operations team at Arlington Industries through a 5 fold revenue growth. In 1999, he formed (with Mr. Jaffe) e.Solutions.

Over the past 8 years, Mr. Thoede has grown e.Solutions from several clients to over 100 clients. He has worked strategically with Corporate IT departments while overseeing his engineers, project managers and salespeople.

Mr. Thoede oversees all management responsibilities for CDGI NOC services.
